EAA "Young Eagles" - Free Flights for Kids (8 - 17)

 

 

 

 

Our next Young Eagles event will be at the South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, NJ, on September 22nd from 10am until 4pm. 

 

  • Ages 8 - 17 only (Parent or guardian must be present & sign permission form).
  • South Jersey Regional Airport, 68 Stacey Haines Rd, Building 2S. 
  • No need to pre-register - "First Come First Fly"
  • FUN!  And a great learning experience.
  • Personalized flight certificate provided to each child.
  • Experienced, friendly FAA-certified pilot volunteers using their own airplanes. 
  • Sponsored FREE by the members of Trenton Chapter 176 of the EAA, an international pilots' organization, to introduce young people to the wonders of flight. 
  • Co-sponsored this year by EAA chapter 1348 and the Windwalker Aero Club.

Our local members have flown nearly 3000 Young Eagles since the program started.  We typically have two events per year, spring and fall.  Watch our Website and the local news for exact dates and times.
